My aim is to help my clients achieve the maximum benefit from each session they have with me.  This has led to an evolution in my treatments that involves combining techniques from deep massage, aromatherapy massage, Reiki, Indian head massage, reflexology or any of the treatments I specialise.   The holistic approach to all my treatments aims to release negative energy and stimulate a release of endorphins into the blood stream.  This stimulus promotes such a strong feeling of wellbeing that it enables the mind to move from negative cycles to positive. Breaking this cycle can achieve very good results.   Of course there is the option of Hypnotherapy or past life regression to help break old habits and rid yourself of unwanted feelings.

 

 

Why do you need to take my phone number to book?

I take a contact number to ensure that I can get hold of you incase there is a problem with your booking time.  I may even take address details and run through some of the consultation over the phone prior to booking depending on the treatment you require. This way I can assess which treatment is best for you.

Where is your door to get in?

If you can find the shops Mark Barley and Francois Restaurant on Kingston Road, Willerby, then my door is in between them both, it is black with my business name plate on.  Just come straight in up the stairs.

Once you have read through the therapies I offer and you are ready to book please give me a call on : 07917 097419 and we can discuss a mututally convenient time and date for your visit.  I will run through some information so that you can get the most out of your treatment.  

I have no idea what treatment I need!!!

Thats not a problem just give me a call on 07917 097419 and we can discuss any discomfort or ailments you have, medication you are on or diagnosed illnesses etc and we can decide which treatment would suite you best so that you get the most from it. 

A friend of mine came to see you and said its not like a beauty salon at all, she said she didnt want to leave - why is this?

I am a holistic practitioner so i work with the mind and body, if you are simply coming for a waxing treatment you want to be relaxed, respected and not feel rushed and why not have a cuppa tea!!!  Those i counsel and do life coaching with want to feel as if they can be open, honest, kick back and relax the mind, relax the body and i feel the whole atmosphere only helps the healing process.

What if I want to say something thats troubling me and I am not there for counselling, is it still confidential?

Yes, I pride myself on my professional approach to ALL my therapies, whatever is sadi to me stays with me in those four walls, this is whether you have a massage, counselling, a detox treatment and so on.  I belong to professional associations who regulate members alongside a code of ethics.  Not only that I treat others as i would like to be treated. 

I want to chat about some diploma training courses.

Thats not a problem.  You can either turn up at my therapy centre (address above) or ring me on 07917 097419 and make an appointment to come in and see me, I will put the kettle on ready!!! 

I have never had a holistic massage or a healing therapy before and I am a bit nervous.

Thats perfectly normal and to be expected.  Keep in your mind the benefits you will feel during and after the therapy.  I treat people daily who are feeling nervous but after a few minutes of meeting me you will be totally at ease. I am a professional therapist and treat men and women of all shapes and sizes with different ailments etc, theres nothing I havent seen before so dont worry.  If you are having some reiki or crystal healing then once again please dont worry about getting emotional. Most people do have a little cry which I am used to and rest assured that anything you disclose to me during the session remains confidential.

I am very body conscious and I can see you have two couches in your room, will other clients turn up while i am there, also where is there to undress?

Try to keep in mind the positive benefits of your treatment, a mix of the room decor, scents, soft lights, music will soon make you relax and your body issues will melt away.  The two couches are for my benefit so I can have my equipment in place if i am doing a massage or beauty treatments, saves me moving it about plus I also teach from my venue so my students can make the most of two beds.   To dress and undress I put up a privacy screen. Clients modesty and self esteem is respected at all times so please dont worry.

I would like to try waxing but have never had it done, does it hurt and how long do the hairs need to be?

Everyones pain threshold is very different, i use a cream wax which is less painful than the traditional honey wax.  My methods take away any of the pain associated with traditional methods, waxing is a very nice treatment with instantly visible results.  I apply a pre wax cream and an after wax cream.  I do not do the intimate waxing but i do wax legs, bikini line, arms, underarms, eye brows, top lip, back, chest, chin but please note i do not do the intimate hot waxing.

You have a few options, you can purchase gift vouchers for them so they can contact me to arrange an appointment and these can be bought online or you can pop by to book and pay in advance so they can just arrive and relax.

How do I pay for my treatment?

You can book in advance online with paypal, contact me for details, or preferably you can pay in cash only on the day.  Please note I do not take cards or cheque payments.

Please turn up on time at my therapy centre (address below)  the door will be open so come up the stairs and I will greet you and show you around,then I will run through a quick consultation form and give you the opportunity for any questions.  If you turn up early the door may be locked or there may be a sign at the bottom of the stairs saying i am still treating my previous client.  If that is the case then please take a seat in the hall and I will be with you shortly.

What is the therapy centre like?

My working area is spacious and comfortable and most of all inviting and relaxing.  My therapy room is full equipped, fresh, clean and the atmosphere is condusive to a positive, relaxing and beneficial experience. I am proud of the atmosphere I have created to help you relax and enjoy a bit of you time!  The sofa area is not a waiting room area, it is somewhere for us to sit and chat prior to and after the treatment, dont worry, you wont be disturbed during your treatment.

Take a look at some pictures of the environment you will be in when you visit Holistic Ascentuals for a treatment or a training diploma day.  The two beds are for training days, rest assured when you book with me for a treatment you will be the only person in the room.
